Welcome to my corner of the internet! I’m Carissa, a social justice activist, communicator, writer, creative based in South Africa. This website is a space where I share my journey, projects, and passions with the world.

My Story

I began my journey in journalism, fueled by a deep passion for storytelling. Over the years, this path led me to the impactful world of environmental work. As a communicator for an NGO, I have the privilege of amplifying the voices and efforts of grassroots organizations tackling waste management issues across Africa. My work focuses on bringing to light the inspiring stories of those making a tangible difference in their communities.
